Minglanilla is bordered to the north by the city of Talisay, to the west is the city of Toledo, and the south is the city of Naga. In the mountain barangay of Minglanilla known as Campo 7, the man-made forest was being nestled.
Established in 1916 used to be known as Talisay- Minganilla Reforestation Project. This man-made forest occupying 2,710 hectares, late Pres. Manuel L. Quezon proclaimed it as a forest reserve in 1937. It’s just like the man-made forest attraction in Bohol. The surroundings are green and the air is fresh. All are admission free. The trees are huge and tall and now the home of many species of birds and insects. The trails will be useful to nature lovers.
Don’t forget to bring snacks and water because it’s a long way and there’s no store. Just be cautious because during the rainy season the road leading to the forest, from Tabunok can be dangerous. It’s best to bring with you your favorite person and your circle of friends.
